Our skippered charters provide the freedom for you to experience the joys of catamaran sailing; we provide the skipper and the boat and you provide the rest. Our skippers are all happy to provide as much or as little input as you require. They are all highly knowledgeable of the southern coastal waters and, should you require it, can provide you with recommendations for anchorages and local sights. Charters often choose to head towards the stunning waters of Salcombe Bay or the unique experience of the Dandy Hole, all of which can be comfortably reached within a few easy days sail.
Your skippered charter could be your chance to kick back and relax as your skipper takes charge while you explore the Solent, or a chance to brush up on your sailing skills; all our skippers are qualified to deliver our RYA accredited courses and can help you to achieve your next qualification.
Solent Sights Days
Tailored for people who want take in the many historic sights of the Solent from the comfort of a catamaran, without the hard work of the sailing, our Solent Sights Days are an experience to remember. We can provide a unique combination of unrivalled relaxation with truly exhilarating experiences, such as watching the water race beneath you as you laze on the trampolines while you watch yachts race in front of Osborn House.
Our Solent Sights Days depart from either Portsmouth or Southampton. In Portsmouth we depart from Gunwharf Quays where you have an opportunity to see the historic dock yard and much of the Royal Navy afloat, before heading out to take in the Solent Forts and Osborn House. If you choose to depart from Southampton your cruise will take in the historic museum town and port of Bucklers Hard, the needles and Hurst Castle. Both departure locations are vibrant marinas which provide plenty of opportunities to extend your day in the Solent by enjoying a glass of wine in a quay side bar or restaurant as you watch the yachts coming and going.
These are cruises with a difference for those who want to experience a sailing cruise from the comfort and luxury of a catamaran. We run a number of different cruise routes to areas of interesting sailing where you will get to enjoy stunning sights and sailing whilst developing your navigation and sailing skills.
On all of our cruises you are accompanied by one of our skippers and are able to do as much or as little as you wish, although we will encourage you to experience as much of the cruise as possible.
Our common routes run from Gosport to either the Channel Islands or the West Country. Although we produce an intended itinerary for all our cruises, the final route will be governed by the weather, as we will naturally place the comfort and safety of our guests before any itinerary. However, even if we have to make last minute changes to our route, we still promise you a week of exciting sailing.
If you would like to experience the thrills of a longer cruise without chartering the whole boat, why not try one of our Mile Builder courses?
